Lunches
The Contract Dining Company has been awarded the Silver Food for Life Catering Mark. As part of this scheme they aim only to use the best quality ingredients sourced wherever possible from local farms and suppliers with high ethical standards. All meat is farm assured and their minced beef, beef burgers and meatballs are organic. Their pork is freedom pork and eggs are free range, the fish is MSC. All seasonal fruit and vegetables are grown in Kent. They do not use packet mixes to make sponges, cakes, pastry or sauces.

Recipes
Recipes are based on fresh foods that use less fat and less sugar. All homemade dessert recipes now have 25% less sugar. Contract Dining Company encourage increased fibre in our recipes and operate a nut free policy. They do not use salt in our cooking. Sourcing most ingredients locally means less food miles and allows them to change menus in line with the seasons.
The Contract Dining Company’s menus have been prepared in compliance with Government School Food Standards. The Children’s Choice cook book is available to purchase in your school for £1.00. All proceeds go to charity.
