Parent Forum

What is the Parent Forum?

The Parent Forum is a partnership between parents and the school. It is a valuable way to share ideas, views, concerns and make suggestions for improvement.

The aims of the Parent Forum will be to:

  • Work together to improve the education provided for our children
  • Share information, knowledge and skills
  • Meet in a mutually supportive environment to make real change
  • Further improve communications between parents/carers and staff/governors

Who can be part of the parent forum?

Any parent/carer of children currently at St Michaels RC Primary School is welcome to join any parent forum meetings.  The forum will be chaired by Mrs Nicola Collins.  At times other members of the school community will also attend the meetings depending on the agenda items and what the school feels they would like to share with the parents, such as new initiatives.

Why should I be part of the parent forum?

It gives you, the parent, an opportunity to get together on a regular basis with other parents to have your say on what the school is doing well, and suggest ideas of how things could be improved.

Minutes of Meetings

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are thrilled to share with you the minutes from our recent Parent Forum meeting, which was a great success. These minutes encapsulate the valuable insights and ideas shared by our school community during the meeting. We appreciate your active participation and commitment to making St. Michael's an even better place for our children.

In addition to the minutes, we're pleased to remind you of the Parent Forum email address (, a channel through which all parents and carers can share suggestions, feedback, or any thoughts you may have regarding the school's activities and policies. Your input is incredibly valuable, and we encourage you to continue using this resource to help shape our school's future.

Moreover, we are already looking forward to our next Parent Forum meeting, scheduled for 8th February at 2 pm. You can join the meeting via Microsoft Teams using the following link:

We look forward to your continued engagement and collaboration as we work together for the benefit of our students.

Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community.

Warm regards,

Mrs. Panting
