Wow what a fun week of experiments we have had! We linked the theme of time to many different experiments this week, firstly we used ice experiments and a frozen gloop tuff tray to begin to imagine how cold it is in the artic which is the habitat we have been learning this week. We then predicted how long it would take for the ice to melt and we had to think of ways to help melt the ice. Our next time experiment was watching colourful and sand volcanos, we looked at what we used in the experiment and then waited to see the process which caused an 'eruption' We then used our boats we made last week to predict whether they would float or sink and we timed how long before we noticed this happening. We have also watched the chicks turn from eggs hatching into chicks which has been very eggciting! And finally we have been learning about germs and how we can prevent the spread of germs, we used time to learn that effective hand washing is for 20seconds and we sang a song with this. Busy but fun week for all #learni
