Year 1 enjoyed meeting Edwina, the ex-commercial hen and Kat from Hen Weekend Chicken Boarding. The Year1 children put on their science hats asking many curious questions to find out all about chickens. They found out it takes a whole 24 hours for a hen to produce just one egg! 🥚 🐔
