Multicultural Week
Thu 26 May 2022St Andrew's have had a braw week learning all about Scotland. We had a Q&A with Mrs Collins, who told us all about Highland 'coos' and 'neeps and tatties'. Can you believe she's never seen Nessie! We joined in a Scottish Ceilidh dance too.

Multicultural Week
Thu 26 May 2022St. Jude's class enjoyed learning all about Northern Ireland. They prepared some questions about things they wanted to find out; they learned how to say hello and counted 10 in Irish (Gaelic). They had great fun with Miss Smart learning how to Irish dance.

Multicultural week
Thu 26 May 2022Year 1 have been learning all about Italy for multicultural week and really enjoyed making and eating pizzas! The children learned about the capital city, the flag and that people in Italy love to eat pasta, pizza and gelato amongst other things. Ciao!

Thu 26 May 2022Church was so much fun! Father Baker taught Nursery a hymn and talked about prayer and the different ways we can talk to God. As the children walked out, they said, "That was awesome!" " That was amazing!" and "The church is beautiful." Thank you for having us, Father Baker.

Thu 26 May 2022Home learning at its best! A beautiful Egyptian necklace and traditional cartouche, a hieroglyphic symbol that was given to the Pharaoh's of Ancient Egypt. This was important so that people knew who they were serving and when a person died it would be connected to their coffin.
