  • Celebrating both creativity and collaboration, the young minds of St. Simon's class embarked on a remarkable journey to bring the timeless Creation Story to life. With unwavering enthusiasm, the children planned and executed their representation, weaving together a tapestry of imagination and innocence. These budding talents showcased not only their understanding of the story but also the magic that happens when our children work together. The love for God's creation was a clear and we all left a little more thankful. Thank you also to our wonderful parents for attending. #creationstory #amazingconfidenceandtalent #leadership

  • Nursery have enjoyed listening to the story 'Stickman', in the story they noticed the different seasons which we have been learning about. Children had a great time noticing the changes at forest school, and they were so excited to share their understanding of the frost and frozen water in the garden so we went exploring. Following on from this we made some snowflake pictures and explored seasonal sensory bags. #learningthroughplay #havingfun #winteriscoming

  • We were given 30 free saplings by the Woodland Trust who are on a mission to give as many people as possible the chance to plant a tree by giving away hundreds of thousands to schools and communities across the UK. We were given Silver Birch, Rowan and Wild Cherry which will create an oasis for birds as well as enhancing our school environment and general wellbeing. As well as planting on our school grounds, Father Peter allowed us to plant some saplings in the church field. He was very happy to help and said a blessing over the trees as they were planted. Co- incidentally, it's National Tree Week! #nature #woodlandtrust #wellbeing
